Star Alliance voted Best Airline Alliance by readers of Frequent Business Traveler

Star Alliance has been named Best Airline Alliance by the readers of Frequent Business Traveler magazine (www.frequentbusinesstraveler.com).

The Frequent Business Traveler GlobeRunner Awards recognize the world’s best airlines, hotel chains, automobile manufacturers, car rental agencies, luggage manufacturers, and travel-related websites.

“Our road warrior readers singled out Star Alliance as the best Airline Alliance,” said Jonathan Spira, editorial director of Frequent Business Traveler. “Their knowledge of what’s good and what’s not in travel makes their votes particularly meaningful.”

Voting was conducted online from March 24 through June 19, 2015, and over 162,000 votes were cast by readers.

The results of this year’s balloting, which included Star Alliance member airlines Lufthansa winning the Best First Class Lounges category and Singapore Airlines named as Best Airline in Asia/Pacific, were announced by Jonathan Spira earlier this month at the magazine’s offices in New York City.
